Spring Sports Open House: Wednesday, February 18, 2026
- 7:00-7:30pm in the OHS Cafeteria (enter the building at the cafeteria doors near the picnic tables).
- Coaches will be available to answer any questions and to collect physicals.
- Track coaches will not be present due to the state indoor track meet
- Athletic Boosters will have Bears spirit wear available for sale.

FCPS Student-Athlete Registration
All prospective student-athletes must complete the required FCPS Online Athletic Registration and submit an athletic physical dated April 1, 2025 or later prior to tryouts/practices beginning in order to participate in any activities beginning on February 28, 2026.

- FCPS Physical Form – Must be dated April 1, 2025 or later.
- The physical must be completed on the current FCPS Athletic Physical Form.
- Only the “Medical Eligibility Form” from the physical packet is to be turned into the school.
- Dual Sport Athletes
- Students are eligible to participate in two sports during the same season with approval from the coaches and administration.
- Students who wish to be considered for participation in two sports must submit theDual Sport Contract to the Coordinator of Athletics by February 21, 2026.

Requirements once a student is selected to a team
- Pay the FCPS Non-Refundable Seasonal Athletic Fee – $185
- There is no fee for Unified Sports.
- There is an additional athletic fee of $148 for dual sports athletes.
- Fees are paid after team selection via SchoolCash Online and are due by March 19, 2026.
- Attend the Mandatory Team Player/Parent Meetings – on March 5, 2026 at 7:00pm in the Auditorium.
