A pair of Bears pole vaulters took home class 3A state championships on Wednesday. Senior Jonas Sparks took home the boys 3A state championship, clearing 14 feet to earn his fourth pole vault state championship. Junior Morgan Booth took home her first pole vault state championship with a personal best height of 11 feet, 6 inches.
With strong overall performances, the Bears boys team finished second at the state meet. Other top performances at the state championship meet included.
