Sophomore Madelyn Hartman became the first Oakdale female wrestler to win an MPSSAA State Championship after winning the 110 lb final at the Show Place Arena On Saturday, March 7, 2026.
In the final, Hartman pinned her opponent from Frederick HS at the 5:17 mark of the match. On her way to the final, she also defeated opponents from Randallstown, Rising Sun, and Patterson Mill.
Other strong performance included Paul Fitzpatrick who placed 3rd and Lyla Ladd who placed 4th in the state.
